It's Time to Race the Lake!
Every year one of the most exciting, loud and adventure packed events hits the Lake, and we look forward to it every single time. The Lake Race is always a fan favorite for the locals and vacationers alike, for a good reason! It's a wonderful chance to get out on the water with friends, watch fun boats speed down the channel, and meet some really cool people. Surdyke Yamaha is proud to be a sponsor for this event, and want to make sure that our favorite customers don't miss out on a single ounce of fun. Here is the schedule of events for the weekend!
Location: Beavers at the Dam
Volunteers and their respective team captains establish final assignments for race weekend.
Complimentary appetizers will be served and volunteers will receive their Lake Race T-shirts.
Enjoy fast exhibits such as fast cars, boats, motorcycles and more. Food and Fair from local vendors along with music and entertainment.
Shuttle service will be available starting at 4:00pm from the State Park. Follow signs.
Race fans will experience everything unique about Lake Race. Meet driver and get up close and personal with the race boats. Entertainment and Kid's Zone!
Shuttle service will begin at 4pm and be available throughout the weekend. Parking will be in the camp ground
RACE DAY!
OPA Sanctioned Powerboat Racing at 11:00 AM to 5:00 PMUnlimited public viewing will be available at Host Facility Beavers at the Dam, on Historic Bagnell Dam, and at numerous other locations surrounding the course. Spectator fleet will have designated areas.
Powerboat Racing at its best commences at Lake of the Ozarks! A full day of racing with formats and demonstrations unique to Lake Race will begin with Opening Ceremonies at 10:40am. Racing will begin promptly at 11:00am, and continue until all heats are complete around 5:00pm. Unlimited public viewing will be available at Host Facility Beavers at the Dam, on Historic Bagnell Dam, and at numerous other locations surrounding the course. Spectators will have designated areas, please watch www.lakerace.com and Lake Locator for up to date information.

Awards Ceremony at 7:00 PMLocation: Beavers at the Dam
When the races are over, stay to cheer on the drivers at the Awards Ceremony. Lake Race Steering Committee along with our Sponsors will award the richest race purses in US powerboat racing.
After Party from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PMLocation: Beavers at the Dam
Entertainment will be available at various spots along the Strip.
"Disco Dick and the Mirrorballs" at 9:00 PMLocation: Beavers at the Dam
The "Members Only Band" will perform at Beavers at the Dam as part of the Lake Race After Party.
Awards to follow on the upper patio at Beavers at the Dam.

$20 Raffle Tickets available at each location for a 50/50 Drawing at Redhead Yacht Club at 4pm.

Lake of the Ozarks Events
We love any event that gets people out on their Lake of the Ozarks boats, ATVs or street bikes. Surdyke Yamaha has been providing the best boats at the Lake of the Ozarks for over 40 years, and we're proud to continue doing so for years to come. We love to get involved in local events, and the Lake Race is certainly one to get out and enjoy.
