This time next week, the Lake area will be filled with powerboats ready to hit the water. Lake Race is one of the area's most exciting, loud and fastest events, and one that we look forward to every year. This event is a fan favorite for both locals and visitors alike, and for good reason! The best thing about wake surfing is that you don't have to go travel to a coast to catch the waves - you just create your own! Wake surfing is very similar to wakeboarding, however, with wake surfing you are not strapped onto the board. Because wake surfing can be easy or challenging, novices and seasoned water-sport athletes are all enjoying this great sport. It's a great chance to get out and meet other bikers, enjoy a night on the Bagnell Dam Strip and take that bike out for a ride. No matter the weather, it's better together, and we can't wait to see you out there. There's no registration or fee required to participate. There are always fun activities to be enjoyed when you visit the Lake of the Ozarks! This weekend is the 20th Annual Spring Harbor Hop, and it's one of the most anticipated events of the year. Kick off the boating season by hopping around to more than 40 participating restaurants and marinas, including Surdyke Yamaha!
