Here are some of our favorite things to do when it gets cold outside.
Winter Fishing
If you couldn't bear to put your boat away for the whole season, winter fishing can help you get back out on the water. According to some experts, winter fishing at the Lake of the Ozarks can be just as successful, if not more, than fishing during the summer months. This is especially true if you find a warm day where they are active and feeding. Don't let the cold weather keep you from getting out and enjoying a day out on the water.
Dirt Bike & ATV Rides
This winter has been usually warm, and when there is a surprisingly warm day, go out and enjoy it on your dirt bike or ATV. Or you can layer up and get outside despite the cold. If you are going to be racing this summer, use this time to start memorizing the tracks so you're prepared for the season. In addition to riding, there are races that happen throughout the winter months where you can fill until the summer riding season begins.
Go For A Ride
Although it can be chilly throughout February and March, there are still some beautiful days ahead of us. If you want to ride during some of the colder days, get out your leather, bundle up and hit the road! You can also take this time to ensure your bike is ready for spring by cleaning it up and making sure everything is in working order (and maybe take it for a spin if it gets nice enough).
