11 Things You Didn't Know About Motorcycles

The longest motorcycle in the world is 31 feet long and seats up to 16 people. It was built in Russia in 2005.

 The first Yamaha motorcycles were made in 1954.

 The very first motorcycle helmets were lined with cork.

 The largest motorcycle pyramid consisted of 201 men riding on 10 bikes.

 TOTO, a motorcycle built in Japan in 2010, is powered by human waste.

 Insurance companies estimate that fully 25% of all motorcycle theft claims are fraudulent. 

 The first motorcycle race took place in 1897.

Henry Winkler, the actor who played The Fonz, actually did not know how to ride a motorcycle.

 When turning corners, the front tire of the bike is responsible for 75% of the bike's grip.

 The record for the most distance covered on a motorcycle in 24 hours is 2,019.4 miles.

 The tallest rideable motorcycle is over 11 feet tall.
