The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is held at Captain Ron's Bar 7 Grill and the 33MM - 34.5MM. This event will bring top powerboat racers from all over the country with speedboats topping 200 MPH! This is the LARGEST unsanctioned boat race in the Midwest! Expect to see over 100 racers and 100,000 spectators! The proceeds for this annual event at the Lake of the Ozarks will benefit the Lake Area Rescue Teams and other charitable organizations! 

HISTORY OF THE SHOOTOUT


The Lake Rescue Shootout started in 1988 as an event in which many local boats participated simply to establish who had the fastest boat. As the years went by it became a bigger and bigger event that also helped supplement the Lake Area Fire Departments water rescue efforts.
