Scary Halloween Movies For Boat and Land Lovers

Since it is Halloween weekend, we know you will probably be watching to scary movies to get you in the mood for this spooky day. 5 Tips For Motorcycle Riding In The Fall

Autumn is in full swing and days of summer motorcycle rides that go long into the night are all wrapped up. Although you may not be able to enjoy cool summer night rides, that doesn't mean you have to put your motorcycle away! With beautiful autumn scenery and nice cool days, Autumn can be one of the best times to ride at the Lake of the Ozarks. Your Missouri Yamaha dealer offers five tips for riding in the fall.  1. Watch For Leaves Although the autumn leaves are beautiful to look at, they can become hazardous to riders once they starting falling to the ground. Dry leaves can pile up on the road and cover potholes or other inconsistencies, so it is important to keep your eye on the road or keep on familiar routes. Wet leaves can cause pavements to become slick, which could cause your bike to slide on the road. Try to avoid slipping and sliding by driving slowly until you're past the obstacle.  2. Get Ready For DIRTFEST 2016!!

Are you looking for a fun time and a chance to get outside and enjoy the fresh air? Then you need to sign up for the 2016 DirtFest presented by Surdyke Yamaha ! This exciting,  off-road event at the Lake of the Ozarks  is hosted at River Bottom MS Dirtbike and ATV Race Track at the Lake of the Ozarks . DirtFest will give you the chance to hit the dirt and demo some of our off-road vehicles. If you want to ride ATV's, dirt bikes and side x side's through the dirt, up and down hills and around fast turns, then you need to preregister for this exciting event. DIRTFEST 2016! What: DirtFest 2016 Where: River Bottom MX Park When: October 30, 2016 Time: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. This event is completely FREE, however, you must preregister by October 29. Otherwise, it is $12 per person at the gate.  During the event, you can demo ATV's, dirt bikes, side x sides and more. You can bring your own, or try ours! In addition, there will be a bonfire and hayrides.

2016 Harbor Hop

If you want to celebrate the end of the boating season with a fun community-wide event, then you need to come on out and participate in the Harbor Hop. This event is the last big boating day of the season and marks the beginning of autumn at the Lake of the Ozarks. Although the summer is over, the fun hasn't stopped! Surdyke Yamaha has all the information on this fun day out on the Lake.  2016 Fall Harbor Hop During the Fall Harbor Hop, you can visit more than 40 different locations around the Lake of the Ozarks to gather cards for your winning poker hand.  To get your poker hand, sign up and pay an optional $20 donation at any of the checkpoints. After getting your first card at the first checkpoint, hop to six more checkpoints, drawing one card per hand at each location.
