The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout festivities are upon us. Thousands of people from all over come to the Lake of the Ozarks to participate and view these races. Although the races aren't until next weekend, there are many events that lead up to the big event. Your Yamaha dealer at the Lake of the Ozarks is a proud sponsor of this charity event. We have all the information on the exciting activities that are happening all week long: Lil' Boat and Pontoon Poker Run When: August 19 Where: Registration at Captain Ron's The first ever Lake of the Ozarks shootout with dual starting points. Participants begin at either Captain Ron's or Frankie & Louie's and finish at a middle point. Even in the Fall, this Lake is a happening place, and this weekend it will be even more exciting because of the Fall Harbor Hop! This is the 30th anniversary of this great event, and all of the fun will be happening on Saturday, October 10th. Keep reading for all of the fun activities that will be happening this weekend! Harbor Hop at the Lake of the Ozarks Draw cards at more than 40 locations around the Lake of the Ozarks to make a winning poker hand in the Harbor Hop. Enter at any of the Harbor Hop locations and enjoy the stops around the Lake before turning in your hand by 7 p.m. Enter the Harbor Hop by stopping at any of the checkpoints listed below. This weekend, fishermen and women will be hitting waters in search of their prize bass. The Fall Big Bass Bash at the Lake of the Ozarks will be happening on October 3-4. Over $215,000 total prize money will be paid out, giving you a chance at some amazing prizes! Here are all of the details you need to know in one quick stop. Tournament Details From 7 AM to 3 PM on October third and fourth you have the chance to catch the biggest bass. You can register online at www.BigBassBash.com, but only until midnight, October 1st.
