Tips for Maximizing Your Time at a Boat Show!

It's one of our favorite times of year here at Surdyke Yamaha, Boat Show Season! Of course, summer is our favorite time of year, boat show season is close second becasue we LOVE having the opportunity show off our high-quality Yamaha boats at the Lake of the Ozarks! If you are planning on attending any boat shows this year, it's important to make the most of your time while you are there, especially if you are traveling. That's why today, your favorite boat dealership at the Lake of the Ozarks would like to share some tips with you on how to stay focused and make the most out of the boat show you are going to.


Find The Right Show

There are many boat shows happening all around the Midwest. Major cities are popular places to find them, of course, you can always ask your boat dealer where they will be attending. Make A Plan

When you attend a boat show, one of the best things you can do is establish a plan. If you want to purchase a new boat, you can do research ahead of time. Knowing what models you're interested in, and which features you want, can help keep you focused when you're wandering down aisles that are filled with shiny boats. Make sure you also make a list of questions that you have for dealers, it's easy to forget what you had originally wanted to know when you don't write it down.

Calculate Your Budget

It's easy to be swept into the sea of fabulous boats and their beautiful features. If you don't plan a budget ahead of time, you could fall in love with a beautiful yacht that is completely out of your price range. When planning your budget, make sure that it will include all of the accessories that you want to add to your boat, and not just the cost of the boat itself.
