Register for the Fall Go Fish Crappie Tournament!

If you have an aluminum boat or fishing pontoon and LOVE crappie fishing, come out join Surdyke Yamaha in the Annual Fall Aluminum & Jetboat boat ONLY fishing tournament and fish fry! This is a fun event for everyone and a great day of fishing in the beautiful fall weather. Read on to learn more about the Go Fish Crappie Tournament!


When 

Saturday, September 28th, 2019 

Fishing takes place from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks and weigh-in is from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m at Surdyke's Port 20. After the weigh-in, stick around for the fish fry!

If you pre-register at SurdykeYamaha.com you can start fishing anywhere on the Lake of the Ozarks.

Cost 

$50 per fisherman
$20 for Youth Division (12 and under)

Prizes 

The tournament will feature a team weigh-in, as well as individual big crappie competition. Maximum of 3 anglers per boat.

100% of the entry fees will be the cash payout to the Top 5 Finishing teams. A Yamaha generator will be awarded to the winner of the Biggest Crappie Competition and the Winner of the Youth Division will receive a Yamaha Sea Scooter!


Go Fish! Crappie RULES and Guidelines for Sept 28th Tournament.

  • Cost of entry is $50 per fisherman. Maximum 3 fisherman per boat/team.
  • Must fish from aluminum boat or jet boat at all times, not tied to any dock or structure.
  • Starting location can be anywhere on Lake of the Ozarks if "pre-registered" by deadline posted. ALL others must start at Surdyke's Port 20. NO fishing before 8:00 am.
  • NO live bait.
  • Must have working live well before, during and after tournament times.
  • All fish must be 10’’ or larger. A team weigh in of 15 fish per boat will count towards weigh in. Crappie only!
  • All Fishing stops at 2:00pm. Weigh in line ends at 3:00pm. You may drive in to the weight in location, but parking is very limited. Boating in is suggested.
  • Fish must be alive at weigh in to avoid penalty.
  • Life jackets or personal flotation devices must be worn while on plane. All State and Local rules and regulations supersede tournament rules.
  • Alcoholic beverages are not allowed during the tournament. Use of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs during tournament hours is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
  • Trolling, as a method of fishing, is prohibited during tournament hours. Pole must be held in hand. Two pole limit per fisherman.
  • By your participation in the Surdyke Yamaha Go Fish tournament, you agree to comply with the rules, and agree to submit to and pass a polygraph test or similar truth test in order to qualify for the receipt of any prize.
  • Teams must comply with all State and boating regulations, including the use of P.F.D.'s and kill switches. Fishing, boating regulations, insurance and licenses are the responsibility of team members. State fishing laws and boating regulations supersede tournament rules. Violation of State or Lake Laws is grounds for disqualification
  • Organizers may alter Rules and Guidelines prior to start time and offer any refunds at that time. There will be NO protest period after 3:15PM Saturday, September 28th.
  • 100% cash payout of all entry fees will apply (Top 5 Finishers). Prize winners are responsible for any and all taxes that are required by state and city guidelines.
  • "Big Ass Crappie Contest" award of a Yamaha EF20isvx will be made to the fisherman who catches the largest crappie during the tournament. A $10 entry fee will apply to this contest.
  • Children must be 12 and under to fish in Youth Class. The top finisher in Youth Class will receive a free Yamaha sea scooter.
