BIKEFEST 2018!
Is anyone else counting down the days until Bikefest 2018, because everyone here at Surdyke Yamaha sure is! The best motorcycle dealer at the Lake of the Ozarks loves being a part of the fun, community-wide events each year, and we’re lucky enough to be able to sponsor this awesome event. As the best motorcycle dealer at the Lake of the Ozarks, we’ve served the area for over 45 years, and we’re excited to continue. Lake Bikefest is happening September 12th through the 16th, and you won’t want to miss it. Read on for a full schedule of Saturday, September 15th’s events!
7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Starting out at Camdenton Farmers & Merchants Market is a great move. Held in the Camdenton Square/Courthouse parking lot, tons of local farmers and merchants come out to sell their goods. The vendors provide education about local food sources, nutritional information, and agricultural and rural issues. The area's residents and visitors have an opportunity to meet and talk with the producers who provide fresh, wholesome, home grown food and farm products at a reasonable price.
8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
The Osage Beach City-Wide Rummage Sale is a great place to find one-of-a-kind, gently used treasures! You can also sign up to have a rummage sale of your own. There will be various sales held (rain or shine!) at addresses throughout Osage Beach. Try to visit at least 10 stops to get your Rummage Bingo card stamped and be entered into a drawing for AWESOME prizes at City Hall!
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
After the Camdenton Farmers & Merchants Market, we’ll head over to the Osage Beach Farmers Market. Local farmers here provide fresh foods including seasonal produce, grass-fed meats, eggs, honey, and baked goods. The vendors at the Osage Beach Farmers Market all adhere to their Pure Food Pledge, which can be found at www.osagebeachfarmersmarket.com.
9:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Next up is the Laurie Hillbilly Fair! This fair has awesome activities and attractions for the young and the old! There will be live music, great food, crafts and games, a Rat Rod Contest, and carnival rides. This family-friendly event is a must-attend stop.
10:00 AM – MIDNIGHT
Be sure to hit up Bikefest with Disco Duck at Beaver’s at the Dam! Beaver’s at the Dam is the only water bar on the Bagnell Dam Strip. There’s live entertainment and a wide variety of menu options. Don’t miss this fun night!
11:00 AM – MIDNIGHT
For more live music, head on over to The Fish and Company! Kricket Alley is performing LIVE on Saturday night. Kricket Alley plays a variety of original music and covers, ranging from classic and modern country, classic and modern rock, pop, 80’s, funk, oldies, and more. You’ll become a fan by the end of the night!
