Tips To Have The BEST Time At YamaPalooza
AquaPalooza is next Saturday, July 15, which means it's time for our annual YamaPalooza extravaganza! This year we're doing 2 full days of fun and excitement never before seen anywhere in the world. There is still time to register for this annual event at the Lake of the Ozarks, but hurry, as registration closes SUNDAY AT MIDNIGHT! If you're planning on attending already, here are a few tips to help you have the BEST time at YamaPalooza.
Before taking off for this year's YamaPalooza, give your watercraft a good once over. Check that the lights work, there's enough gas, you have enough life jackets for everyone and that the engine is in good shape. Also, take this time to make sure your boat is sparkling and ready for the boat parade to Yamaha Island on Saturday at 8:30 AM.
Get Your Floatation Device
AquaPalooza is all about relaxing and having fun in the Lake, and YamaPalooza is no different! Once you make your way over to Yamaha Island, you may be blocked in, so plan to stay for the whole day - but who wants to leave early anyways? Make sure you're ready for a full day of water fun by having all the right YamaPalooza gear. At Surdyke Yamaha, we have everything you need for fun on the Lake of the Ozarks! Floatation devices are a must for AquaPalooza & YamaPalooza, so pick yours up before heading out next week.
Stay Hydrated
As of right now, it's going to be a hot one the weekend of YamaPalooza. With temperatures in the 90s, it's important to stay hydrated. While this tip may seem simple, it can be hard to remember to drink enough water when you're having fun in the Lake. However, with temperatures this hot, we don't want anyone getting dehydrated. Remember to pack enough water (or maybe, even more, water than you think you need) for everyone.
Take A Mid-day Break
We're going to partying all day long on Yamaha Island. We don't want you getting tired, so remember to take plenty of breaks. During 12:00 - 1:00 PM, we will be providing lunch on the Island. However, it's also a good idea to pack some snacks to tie you over. Sunday, July 16, recover from all the fun you had during YamaPalooza with Breakfast at Angelo's Pizza at Pier 31. After you've had a delicious breakfast, join us for more aquatic fun in Linn Creek Cover from 10:30 AM - Noon.
