Hot Summer Nights Is Back!
The Lake of the Ozarks is home to many wonderful events, and one of our favorite summer events is Hot Summer Nights! It's a great chance to get out and meet other bikers, enjoy a night on the Bagnell Dam Strip and take that bike out for a ride. No matter the weather, it's better together, and we can't wait to see you out there.
Hot Summer Nights: "Cruisin' Time Again"
Hot Summer Nights cruise is open to all makes, models and years of cars, trucks and motorcycles. There's no registration or fee required to participate. It's family fun for all with helicopter rides, live music and entertainment starting at 6:00 PM and going on until 11:00 PM on the Bagnell Dam Strip. Enjoy great food, fun and shopping on The Strip in addition to the cruise. Each month, there is a different theme in addition to the overall theme. Here are the dates and theme for the 2017 Hot Summer Nights:
May 12 - Cruisin' Through The Years
For the first Hot Summer Nights of the season, DJ Mr. Leo Case will be playing music from the decades of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. A different decade will be playing each hour of the event.
June 9 - It's A 66 Day, Route 66 Returns
Mikaela Carson, Miss City of Fountains 2017 and Miss Missouri 2017 contender, will open Hot Summer Nights with patriotic songs at the Luby's stage.
July 14 - Bikes, Trikes & Trucks
While Hot Summer Nights is open to all makes and models or cars, trucks and motorcycles, this event is putting a spotlight on bikes, trikes & trucks. Bring yours and come cruise The Strip!
August 11 - Muscle Cars & Custom Cars
Come show off your ride at the Muscle Cars & Custom Cars Hot Summer Nights event. If you've tricked out your vehicle, come cruise the strip.
September 8 - Salute To Our Heros
Hundreds of firefighters and EMTs will be coming to the Lake area for this event. Military, police, firefighters and EMTs will be followed during the cruise with the SCOTT Firefighter Combat Challenge.
Hot Summer Nights Ride
One of the best parts of the night is being able to get out and enjoy the company of other people who love cruising as much as you do. Before each Hot Summer Night, Surdyke Yamaha is hosting a ride to The Strip. Hot Summer Nights Ride leaves from Surdyke's Osage Beach showroom at 6:00 PM.
