The Big Bass Bash

This weekend, fishermen (and women) will be racing all over the Lake of the Ozarks to find the perfect bass. The Fall Big Bass Bash is taking place this weekend on October 7th and 8th from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Over $220,000 will be paid out to winners, so you have the opportunity to win some great prizes. Surdyke Yamaha has some of the event details to get you ready for the big tournament, so grab your reels and get ready for an exciting day! 


Tournament Details:

There’s still time to register!  You can register in person on Friday, October 6th at the Grand Glaize State Park (PB2) from 12pm – 8pm. On Saturday and Sunday, Anglers can register at all of the weigh-in locations starting at 6:00 am. Weigh in locations are Grand Glaize State Park (PB2), Red Oak Resort, Alhonna Resort, and Point Randall Resort.

Prizes:

1st Place: $70,000
2nd Place: $20,000
3rd Place: $10,000
4th Place: $5,000

In addition to the top prizes, there will be 35 places paid during these time slots: 7:00 - 9:00 am, 9:00 - 11:00 am, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm and 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Kid's Division:

At the Big Bass Bash, kids, ages 12 and younger, get the opportunity to win great prizes and awards for their fishing skills. Each day, the top three largest crappie, bass, bluegill and catfish will determine the children's division winners. Entry fee is $10 and must be paid before fishing.
